Badley Ashton wishes to extend a warm welcome to the newest members of our Geological staff, Timothy Wigan and Dimitrios Charlaftis.

Timothy joins us from London, where he has just finished his PhD thesis at Imperial College. Entitled “Discerning the influence of palaeotopography on early post-rift deep-water sedimentary systems”, this aims to Understand deep-marine sediment routing around early post-rift topography for stratigraphic trap and reservoir quality prediction. Timothy specializes in deepwater clastic geology and will add his experience to our specialist Deepwater Geology team.

Dimitrios joins us from Aberdeen where he has been working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow on the SAFARI project. This project aims to use virtual outcrop geology and analogue data for reservoir modelling purposes, analysis of reservoir-related systems. He also has industrial experience gained from working with BP and IGas. Dimitrios will join our Clastic Geology team.

Both Timothy and Dimitrios will be based in our Lincolnshire office, and we wish them all the best in their new careers at Badley Ashton.
